Q: Will I be able to store my stuff during the workout?

A: Yes, each site will have a safe place to store your belongings!

Q: Do I need to bring any of my own equipment to class?

A: Not at all! All of our equipment is stored in a secure locker at each site location. You are never expected to bring your own equipment, but if you would like to bring something (for example, your own Yoga mat), you are more than welcome to.

Q: How much does a drop in class cost if I’m not a member?

A: We currently do not sell drop-in passes. Everyone is welcome to a free trial class. We do not allow more than 1 trial class per calendar month. If you want to attend more than 1 class per month, you must have a monthly subscription to Public Recreation. We do not charge per class.

Q: What happens if it rains?

A: We will run our workouts rain or shine! A little weather can’t stop us :) unless the weather is in any way potentially dangerous, classes will run in all conditions.

Q: How do I register for classes?

A: We currently use a registration software called Acuity to run all of our appointment bookings. If you are signing up for a trial class, you can see the Acuity scheduling panel for trials on our website home page. If you are a member, you can find a similar booking experience in our members section of the website. The password to this website is in your onboarding email. Q: Do I need to register for each class ahead of time?

A: Although at this time it is not required to register for classes ahead of time, it is highly recommended that you do so. This rule is subject to change, so it is good to get in the practice of doing so, and by pre-registering, you ensure your spot in the class should it fill up.

Q: What if I need to cancel my registration for a class? How do I do that?

A: You can cancel your registration for any class at any time; in fact, we appreciate letting us know ahead of time if you cannot make it, and freeing up your spot for others!

You can cancel your class registration by finding the confirmation email that was sent to your upon registering for the class, and clicking the “Change/Cancel Class” button within the email.

q: Can I bring a friend?

We would so love for you to bring all your friends! Everyone's first class is free. They can register on our homepage or just have them show up and we'll take care of them.

Q: Can I pause my membership?

You can pause your membership for up to 3 months. If you pause mid-month the remaining portion of your month will not roll over to when you want to come back. Pausing a membership requires your next bill date to be set and it can be any date within 3 months from the start of pause. Pausing a membership guarantees the monthly membership rate you enrolled at, should our rates change.
